Reversible Tie Apron

Thanks again to Maggie at Smashed Peas and Carrots - here are more button and tie aprons. Turn the fronts over for new looks. This took some time because I needed to practise button holes. The back is pink. I saw and ignored a flaw in the fabric. Of course it is on the front and I see it every time now. I could so easily have cut out another front. Lesson learned! A reversible front made from wipeable plastic coated material should be useful for activities involving water or paint.

Tie Apron

Thanks to Maggie on her "Smashed Peas and Carrots"  blog for her free vintage  tie apron tutorial and pattern .    I made the whole apron in one material.  I have ambitions to make more - possibly using one back piece and making three front pieces so that they can be quickly swapped over in particularly messy activities such as painting or cooking.
